Lizardopolis can provide a unique, hands-on, educational and fun event for your birthday party, club, classroom, school science program or other event. We will bring a variety of species from different parts of the world to make your event the most memorable ever.
We are located in Prescott, Arizona and are happy to travel to Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, and the Quad City area. Depending upon the distance, there may be an additional fee for travel.
A birthday party with a visit from Lizardopolis will provide your child and their friends with the most memorable birthday party ever! Learn about snakes, lizards, tortoises and other reptiles and amphibians and what makes them special and important to us and our environment. Everyone who wants to will get a chance to handle exotic reptiles. Prices start at $150.
Animal selection may vary. We will discuss with you what will be the right animals to bring, depending upon the situation. The various snakes in our collection include: Bull Snake, Boa Constrictor, African Ball Python, Western Hognose Snake, Milk Snake, Trans Pecos Rat Snake, Texas Rat Snake, Blue Tongue Skink, Tegu, and a Russian Tortoise!
The SAFETY of your children and our animals is our number one priority. Educating young people about how important these creatures are so they learn to respect and appreciate them and understand how important they are to our environment is why we do this. We take great care to make sure that animals are handled safely and gently. None of our animals are venomous, poisonous or aggressive, so there is no danger to anyone.
Lizardopolis is owned and operated by me, my name is Lauren. I'm an Animal Biologist. I have extensive experience caring for and handling creatures of all kinds from as far back as I can remember. I've always been fascinated by reptiles and amphibians and have had them as pets since I was 10 years old. Herpetology was the focus of my studies while I was earning my Evolutionary Biology degree.
Birthday Parties, Club Presentations, School Classroom Events: $150, for 1 hour minimum. Longer times can be arranged. This includes a short educational presentation appropriately geared towards the children's ages, plus hands-on time with a variety of gentle reptiles. Please schedule 2 - 4 weeks in advance if possible as we have a very busy schedule.
